Overview Resort Statistics Lift Statistics Trail Statistics Other Services Contact Info Directions

Hogadon Ski Area is located on Casper Mountain in central Wyoming. With 600 vertical feet and 18 major trails covering 60 acres, Hogadon offers skiers a good mix of ski terrain for all abilities. Snowboarders are welcome on all trails. Hogadon provides ski lessons through its fully-accredited ski school, alpine and snowboard rentals, and a full-service restaurant and snack bar. The Natrona County Parks Nordic Ski Area offers 15 miles of machine-groomed trails that wind through the mature forests of Casper Mountain. This is one of the few lighted trail systems in the region, providing a rare opportunity for night skiing. Rentals are available from the Mountaineer's Mercantile and cross-country passes can be obtained from the following local merchants: Back Country Mountain Works, Mountaineer's Mercantile, Dean's Sporting Goods, Mountain Sports or the Natrona County Parks' Office.

More than Just Skiing. When you have had enough of skiing, you can checkout the Natrona County Parks snowmobile trail system. Explore 60 miles of machine-groomed trails and an additional 20 miles of ungroomed trails. The snowmobile system is located on both Casper and Muddy Mountains, with trailheads located approximately eight miles south of Casper on Casper Mountain Road. The trails wind through miles of scenic canyons, forests and spacious meadows. Casper is located nine miles north of the ski area and is the metropolitan center of Wyoming. It offers a variety of winter activities and accommodations. There are a range of cultural activities, such as museums, galleries, theater and the planetarium to choose from.
