Tyrol Basin is located in a picturesque valley just 20 miles west of Madison, Wis. Open seven days and nights a weeks, Tyrol offers an all day ticket, good from open to close, and a four hour ticket with flexible starting time for those who must budget their time. Skiers and snowboarders together have "found the fun" on Tyrol's tree-lined slopes, challenging snowpark, long mogul run and trails with creative alternative terrain.

Already known nationally for its world-class half-pipe, Tyrol added new half-pipes in the 1996/97 winter season. People of all ages come to Tyrol Basin because the ski/snowboard area is always looking for new ways to make their day in the snow a great adventure. From Madison, take Hwy 18 West to Hwy 151. Follow Hwy 151 West to ID Road. Take ID Road to J Road and then take J Road to Bohn Road to Tyrol Basin, about 15 miles.

...From Mt. Horeb (exit #69) Take County ID to traffic circle. Take Highway 78 North 2 miles to County J.
Turn Left on J. Follow County J for 3 miles to Bohn Road.
Turn Left on Bohn Road. Follow Bohn Road 1 mile to Tyrol Basin.

FROM WEST MADISON Exit Highway 12 at Mineral Point Road (County S) and drive west 8 miles to County P. Turn left on P, proceed 1 mile to County J and turn right. Follow County J for 4 miles. Turn left on Hwy 78, proceed 200 ft. and turn right on County J. Follow County J for 3 miles to Bohn Rd. Turn left on Bohn Rd. and follow the signs to Tyrol.

FROM IOWA & WESTERN WISCONSIN Follow 18/151 past Dodgeville 19 miles. Turn left on Cave of the Mounds Road; proceed 1/4 mile and turn right on County ID. Proceed 1/4 mile, turn left on County JG, drive 3 miles and turn left on Bohn Road. Follow the signs to Tyrol Basin.
