White Pass Ski Area
Overview Resort Statistics Lift Statistics Trail Statistics Other Services Contact Info Directions

White Pass, located in Washington's breathtaking Cascade Mountains, is a place blessed with abundant snowfall and unspoiled beauty. It has a wide variety of terrain for all abilities, a ski school with programs for everyone and places to relax and enjoy good times after the day is over. What really makes it special though, is the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. It's what makes White Pass a ski and snowboard paradise.

The White Pass experience starts with a bountiful snowfall (300" in an average season) and with the highest base elevation on the crest of the Washington Cascades. The resort strikes a perfect balance between pulse quickening steeps, wide open cruisers and gentle learning areas with 20 percent of the terrain geared toward experts, 60 percent toward intermediates and 20 percent toward beginners. Nothing gets you to the top faster than the Great White Express, Washington's only Doppelmayr high-speed detachable quad. Great White can take you from the base to the summit in five minutes. White Pass is recognized as one of the greatest mountains to ride in the Northwest. Natural quarter-pipes, kickers, drops, cornices and chutes challenge even the most experienced boarder. It offers a half-pipe.

It's got one of the most scenic and well-maintained cross-country areas in the Northwest. The 18 km of double track, which allows both classic and skating, circles a picturesque lake and then climbs into the Wenatchee National Forest. The White Pass Learning Center has developed a wide variety of programs for all ages and abilities. Highly-trained instructors are there, ready to help you to learn, to improve and to grow. So, whether your a novice snowboarder or an aspiring racer the White Pass Learning Center can help you get more out of your time on the mountain.
