Brattleboro's Historic Ski Jump To Be Re-Constructed
Construction of the new tower and in-run for the Harris Hill Ski Jump in Brattleboro, Vermont is underway and the goal is to have the work completed before the snow flies, or by Thanksgiving, whichever comes first. That's according to Jason Evans of J. Evans Construction in Dummerston, Vermont, the contractor for the project who is working hard to meet this aggressive schedule.

Vermont Hits 4.3 Million Skier Visits for 2007-08 Season
Vermont ski areas recorded 4,354,621 skier visits for the 2007-08 season, announced the Vermont Ski Areas Association at its June 12 Annual Meeting held at Mount Snow Resort. This marked a 14% increase over the prior year’s tally, and was well ahead of the industry’s 10-year average.

Vermont Reports Strong Winter 2008 Seasion
Vermont is wrapping up one of its best winter seasons in recent memory, thanks to an ideal combination of significant and persistent snowfall that drew millions of visitors here to enjoy a variety of recreational activities.
