Home to the Foremost Race Training School in the U.S. Burke Mountain
is a magnificent ski mountain located near the village of East Burke, in Vermont's
Northeast Kingdom. The exciting pitches of the trail system encompass 2,000
vertical feet, great vistas of the unspoiled Vermont landscape and a top-to-bottom
snowmaking system. Cross-country skiers will find 80 km of trails.
The atmosphere at this ski area is relaxed and uncrowded. People of all abilities
enjoy memorable skiing at this area, often labeled "New England's best
kept secret." Burke Mountain is the best value in Big Mountain skiing,
and children under 5 years ski for free. Burke is the home of Burke Mountain
Academy, the foremost race training school in the United States.
