Wolf Mountain (formerly Nordic Valley Ski Resort) is located 15 miles northeast of Ogden in Eden, Utah. The mountain offers a spectacular view of the valley and is designed so that you can ride up the lift together with people of different skiing abilities and branch off to ski varying runs and meet again at the bottom. Snowboarding is permitted everywhere, and all runs are lit by a professional sports lighting system providing excellent vision for all skiers. Nordic Valley has a ski shop offering skiing and snowboard rental equipment and accessories. Valley dining at the lodge features a variety of sandwiches, pizza, homemade soups and chili.

Delta Airlines had made Salt Lake City the largest airline hub in the west. The nation’s third-largest carrier now provides non-stop service to 108 destinations from Salt Lake City and operates 357 scheduled daily flights.

Driving Directions:

From Salt Lake City International Airport

Approximately one hour driving time.

From Salt Lake City Airport, follow signs for I-215 North towards Ogden which will connect with I-15 North in a few miles.

Follow I-15 north to Exit 324 - Highway 89/84, just past Lagoon Amusement Park.

Follow Highway 89 approx. 10 miles to the junction of I-84, and travel east on I-84 towards Morgan/Evanston, WY.

Get off at the first exit you come to, Exit 92 - Mountain Green/Stoddard.

Turn left off ramp, go under freeway and turn right on the frontage road, which parallels the freeway.

Travel about 2 miles and turn left just after the Sinclair Oil Gas Station onto Trapper's Loop Road (Rte 167).

Follow all the way up and over the hill, passing Snowbasin Resort on your left, until the road terminates at Pineview Lake.

Turn left onto Hwy 39 West and follow about 2 miles along the banks of Pineview Lake.

Turn right onto Rte 158, which is the road that goes over the dam on the west end of Pineview Lake. Travel on Rte 158 approximately 4 miles until the road forks near a trail head parking lot. Bear left following the sign to Liberty until you come to a four-way stop.

Turn left onto Highway 162 and travel 2 miles to the Wolf Mountain sign (sign is on right side of road).

Turn left at the sign and travel 0.6 miles to the Yield sign.

Turn left and go 0.6 miles to the Wolf Mountain driveway on the right.

FROM SALT LAKE CITY

Approximately one hour driving time.

FROM PARK CITY AREA

Approximately one hour and fifteen minutes driving time.

Take I-80 East Towards Coalville.

Just past Coalville get on I-84 West towards Ogden. Follow I-84 to Exit 96 - Peterson/Mountain Green/Huntsville. Note: Be very careful not to miss the exit ramp, as it starts just as the highway curves to the right and it is easy to miss.

Turn right at the bottom of the ramp and then make a quick left.

Travel about 2 miles and turn right before the Sinclair gas station onto Trapper's Loop Road (Rte. 167) heading towards Snowbasin Resort.

Follow all the way up and over the hill, passing Snowbasin Resort on your left, until the road terminates at Pineview Lake.

Turn left onto Hwy 39 West and follow about 2 miles along the banks of Pineview Lake.

Turn right onto Rte 158, which is the road that goes over the dam on the west end of Pineview Lake. Travel on Rte 158 approximately 4 miles until the road forks near a trail head parking lot. Bear left following the sign to Liberty until you come to a four-way stop.

Turn left onto Highway 162 and travel 2 miles to the Wolf Mountain sign (sign is on right side of road).

Turn left at the sign and travel 0.6 miles to the Yield sign.

Turn left and go 0.6 miles to the Wolf Mountain driveway on the right.

FROM OGDEN CENTRAL

Approximately 25 minutes driving time.

Head north on Harrison and turn right onto Highway 39 (12th Street/Ogden Canyon).

Follow 39 up Ogden Canyon until you see the Pineview Dam just uphill from the waterworks building and turn left on Rte. 158, which is the road that goes over the dam at the west end of Pineview Lake. Travel on Rte 158 approximately 4 miles until the road forks near a trail head parking lot. Bear left following the sign to Liberty until you come to a four-way stop.

Turn left onto Highway 162 and travel 2 miles to the Wolf Mountain sign (sign is on right side of road).

Turn left at the sign and travel 0.6 miles to the Yield sign.

Turn left and go 0.6 miles to the Wolf Mountain driveway on the right.

FROM SOUTH OGDEN

Approximately 25 minutes driving time.

Take Harrison Avenue to I-84 and travel east on I-84 towards Morgan/Evanston, WY.

FROM NORTH OGDEN - BRIGHAM CITY - LOGAN

From North Ogden expect 20 minutes, from Brigham City expect 30 minutes, from Logan expect 45 minutes.

From I-15 take Exit 344 - Hwy 39 / 12th Street.
