Snowbasin is a world class ski resort! Before you even make it to the trails, you are taken through a first class lodge that offers plenty of comfortable seating, warm fireplaces and the finest food - prime rib at lunch! The trails are great, but some snowmaking is necessary and it can mke the terrain a little rough. The gondola lift is super fast, so you can easily get in a full day of skiing even while taking a long lunch break in the lodge to warm up! I had a great time and will be back.

This was the perfect choice for me. I’m too into the nightlife, so I don’t have a complaint like others might about the lack of after hour activities. I enjoyed the terrain, though part of the got pretty slushy/crusty during the day, and the wind in that area could be prohibitive. The lifts are fast and there was no waiting, and the people were quite nice. The weather was perfect while we were there, though I was told that the day before we arrived it had been cloudy and very windy. It's obvious that the owners have big plans for this place as they have poured big money into the lifts and lodges. The new lodges are amazing- nicer than anything I have seen anywhere. I'm sure condos will be popping up soon- I just hope this hidden gem doesn't get ruined.
