Put a couple of coats of Toko Base Prep Gray on after you take your boards out of storage to breathe new life into the bases. Too hard for a base prep...
The best base prep wax is SSVT/RaceService1 because it flows at a low temp and impregnates the base. I found the Toko to be OK, but a tad too hard. It did not soak into the base well, and even after top coating with a harder wax, they skis quickly base burned. I actually find the Toko system 3 yellow is a better choice for hot scraping and base prep.
