Versatility plus
Top of the line combi boot.Has great stability and support for skating. My wife immediately noticed the difference from the entry level skating boot she previously wore. With the Pro Combi she has much greater control over the skis than her old boots provided. Haven't tried it yet with classical skiing but the option is nice to have.
Salomon Pro Combi Boot
I bought these several weeks ago and have used them with Fischer Nordic cruiser skis mounted with the Salomon Pilot Classic binding. I am using them for fitness classic and some skating on prepared trails at a Nordic center. These are great boots and I highly recommend the new Pilot Classic binding system. It gives greater stability than conventional classic bindings. This is important to me because I sometimes ski down from Nordic trails via alpine runs (green and blue) and the extra control is very helpful. The fit is very good and the adjustable heel strap keeps my heel from chafing or moving up in boot. The only negative is that these are a bit too airtight and consequently hot.
