PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
When the heavens dump white goodness on your mountain, take the Rossignol Scratch Steeze Ski out for a float. Rossignol made this backcountry twintip with a big 110 millimeter waist for those bottomless days when cliffs and wind lips taunt you. Rossignol built the Scratch Steeze Ski with their lightweight, yet powerful THC2 core. Float over the frosted flakes or clean your plate of crud—either way the Scratch Steeze Ski kills it. With its semi-soft flex and wide geometry, the Scratch Steeze Ski makes pie out of switch landings and whips the cream on fakie point lines. And the tough Mini Rossitop Cap keeps the Steeze's topsheet graphic cherry.
Bottom line
Leave the lift lines and crud to the beaters while you float the untouched deeps on the Rossignol Scratch Steeze Ski.
Product Reviews
Great!
These skis can handle anything. They are perfect for switch powder landings and are light to provide easy swing weight for spinning!
Ahhhh the Steeze
Bought the Steeze a couple weeks ago. I was skiing on the Salomon (Noodle!) Gun, so I wanted anouther fat twin. I Haven't regreated it yet. I've skied everything on it.(Pow, Hardpack, Sugar, Ice) it SHREDS and distroys any condition. It stomps so hard that it barely feels like you've landed. Super stable. (140 lbs. 174cm) Good on the steeps. Sweet graphics and really damp. It doesn't even feel like a twin tip because it doesn't wash out like most. Highly Recommended. You won't regreat it.
Steezy
This is the most fun ski I have ever skied on. I use it at Alta in all conditions. Granted, I feel that my 4Frnt VCT's could straightline hard choppy snow better, the Steeze is overall a better ski. Most fat skis feel really planky when you aren't in powder, these feel more like skis when you aren't in powder. So how do they feel in the snow they were made for? They are awesome. I have used them in some super deep days at Alta and they surf so nice. I 100% recommend this ski to everyone who wants a nice powder ski that can still ski back to the chair. Even if you don't use chairs, this ski would be awesome for touring because the WRS core makes it so light. The Twin tip makes it rad for landing switch in powder. After reading this review, you have no reason not to buy this ski (unless you live in the East)
Stomp so hard you break bones!
No, seriously, the first day that I rode the STZ I was stomping things fakie so big and hard that I re-broke one of my ribs, and I never even crashed to do it!! They truly are a big mountain jib ski that completely changed the way that I skied as soon as I got them and allowed me to push and progress my fast big mountain skiing as well as my big airs in any conditions. I was a little bit skeptical about how well they would perform on groomers and park jumps, but they have proved themselves with just enough sidecut to carve the hell out of a groomer and are smooth enough to stomp the hell out of a park jump.
the ski you need
After much anticipation and rumors of a super scratch rossignol delivers the goods with the Steeze. The steeze is the fattests in the rossi family and is the funnest ski Ive ever been on. It keeps the same flex and shape as the scratches befor it but its added girth makes it stomp every landing forward or back. I shreded on this ski all winter long on groomers, the park, phat utah pow days and in the mountians in alaska. It was perfect and so much fun every day.
