Willamette Pass
Overview Resort Statistics Lift Statistics Trail Statistics Other Services Contact Info Directions

A scenic drive from the west or east, Willamette Pass attracts families and individuals who find its long, wide, gently sloped tree-lined runs the perfect setting to develop and test their giant slalom skills. Yet, it also offers some intense and challenging runs for expert skiers. Just to the right of the lodge, is a beginner area with a slow moving, "magic carpet" and a three person beginners lift to help new skiers gain confidence. On the rest of the mountain, there are 28 more trails that enable you to advance and test your abilities. All are long and uninterrupted by crossovers or cat trails. These are great cruising runs that offer you the choice of beginner, intermediate and advanced skiing terrain. The advanced runs are steeper in pitch and include moguls carved out of the 300 inches of snowpack. Top to bottom, the longest run is just more than two miles. Snowboarders also enjoy a half pip and terrain park. First time packages are available that include lower mountain lift, lesson and rental. Cross-country skiers have access to 20 km of groomed and tracked trails. The Nordic center is located at the west end of the main parking lot, set next to the tubing center.

Ski School. Ski school programs are offered for alpine, Nordic, telemark, snowboard and racing. Eagle Peak contains the perfect terrain for all these sports. Skier services are all within the massive lodge at the base of the mountain. There are spectacular views of the mountain from the lodge or the deck.

Ticketing Options. The ticketing is a unique feature of this ski area, where options for your best skiing value are a major consideration. You can ski by the hour, by the vertical foot or by the day. You can purchase a five-day mini-pass, a silver pass, a corporate account pass or a regular season pass. All are electronically controlled by a SKI KEY pass (a wrist bracelet ticket), which is purchased and updated yearly thereafter.
