Mt. Ashland Ski & Snowboard Resort
Overview Resort Statistics Lift Statistics Trail Statistics Other Services Contact Info Directions

The Mt. Ashland ski area is nestled at 7,500 feet in the magnificent Siskiyou Mountain range of southern Oregon. The facility operates daily from Thanksgiving to the beginning of April. Mother nature is generous here, giving an average snow depth of 110 inches. While there is plenty of snow for powder hounds on alpine skis or snowboards, the unique climate offers plenty of sunny days all winter long. The ski area encompasses 23 trails in addition to chute skiing in a glacial cirque, called the Bowl. All trails are easily accessible by four chairlifts. A gentle just-for-beginner section, complete with its own triple chairlift, is located close to the lodge where family and friends can watch and offer encouragement. Miles of cross-country skiing are available on the southside of Mt. Ashland.

Mt. Ashland also offers night skiing on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and holidays, with three chairlifts serving 10 lit runs. The Learning Center staff will help you discover the fun of skiing from beginner to expert, child through senior. If you don't own equipment, there is a full-service rental shop, featuring a state of the art ski rental system. Certified technicians will match skier and equipment or can swiftly put your skis back in top form. The Granite Cove retail shop offers alpine and snowboard accessories, including helmits, to complete your outfit for a fashionable look.

You can still your hunger with a delicious meal at the Mountain Cafe or celebrate your skiing accomplishment in the T-Bar Steak Lounge. The leading lodging facilities in Ashland have joined the ski area by offering ski and lodging packages for any pocketbook. Register at participating motels and bed and breakfasts for your overnight stay, and pickup your discounted lift ticket for the day. Mt. Ashland is a community-owned ski area and is located just 30 minutes from the city of Ashland.
