I am from Huntington, NY and this might not be biggest ski mountain but by far in the top 3 in the Northeast for the family expierence. I have been all over the northeast and have yet to get the courteous treatment they pour out a Windham. The sking is great and the childrens center is second to none. The town has mini European feel to it with some surprising fine dining. With a mere two hour drive from NYC it is a family favorite!
