New York Cockaigne Ski Area is a family ski area located in western New York’s snow belt. Located 18 miles from Lake Erie with a base elevation 1100 feet higher than the lake, Cockaigne receives an average 275 inches of snowfall. Cockaigne combination of slopes (300 feet wide) and New England style trails (15 feet wide) combined with longest run of 3600 feet provide abundant snow time for the whole family.

Cockaigne is 18 miles from I-90 N.Y.S. Thruway. Take exit 59 to Route 60 South to Sinclairville. Continue on Route 66 East to Cockaigne. Cockaigne is eleven miles from Interstate 86 (Route 17) the Southern Tier Expressway. Take exit 14 to Route 62 North to Ellington and pick up Route 66 West to Cockaigne. We are approximately 6 miles from Sinclairville and Ellington on County Road 66 (Thornton Road).
