Mountain Creek is the best ski resort in New Jersey (which isn't saying much because the only other place that I know of is Hidden Valley). Mountain Creek is fairly good sized with 4 peeks and quite a few trails for all experience levels. (The double diamond is almost straight down but it is very fun except for the spots on it that don't have any snow because they don't make any on that trail.) Considering I haven't been there in 2 years because last year New Jersey received a total of 3 inches of snow for the whole season, things may have changed for the better. Likes - There are not a large amount of things that I like about this "mountain". - The food there is pretty good, but is overpriced. If I remember correctly it was like 2 dollars for a bottled water. - There are many different terrain experience levels available to ski on. If you are a beginner this may be a good place to go, just watch out for the crazy people. (read dislikes) - I like the terrain parks here. There are two located on the mountain and they were put together well. The jumps are nice. This is really the only thing I like about this resort. Dislikes - The mountain may be fairly large for this area but it is very crowded especially on the weekends. No offense is meant to the New Yorkers but, many of the New Yorkers come down to ski and have absolutly no clue what they are doing. The go straight down the mountain potentially risking people's lives because they don't know how to stop. This is a big reason why I do not care for this resort. - This mountain does not recieve much snow and relies heavily on cold weather for them to be able to make their own. If you would like a real skiing experience with real snow either go to Vermont, Upstate New York, or out West.

Its jersey, and the sucky snowboarders love it, which means they crowd the slopes. Kids and families from the city come and make it even worse. If you are any good at skiing, do me a favor and dont waste your time. Mountain Creek doesnt need your business cuz they always have the city to depend on.

Never again will I or anyone in my family go to mountain creek again.My daughter was hit 3 times on the slow trails by inconsiderate riders who wont give way to the slower younger learners.the kids from 10 years old to teens have the most colorful language i have ever heard and the line cutting from everyone is horrible.my new skis were stolen and when i found the nearest employee all i got was"im just an instructor,what do you want from me?"while filling out the report there wer about 20 or 30 other people filling out the same form.appears this is a common problem there.There is no lodge,no place to sit and relax and change your gear.ive never seen such inconsiderate crowds or the amount of people on a hill even on holiday weekends.I could rant all day but it is just ticking me off. spend your hard earned money where it will be appreciated and where you would be treated like a human being.
