| Wildcat, nestled in the White Mountain National Forest,
is unblemished by trailside development. Surrounded by 773,000 wooded
acres, there is a certain mystique here. Wildcat offers skiers 225 acres of
world-class ski terrain towering more than 4,000 feet above sea level. At Wildcat
you'll ski more: the longest vertical drop (2,100 feet), the highest lift-served
summit and the greatest lift capacity in the Mt. Washington Valley.
Add that to a trail system for all abilities that follows the
natural contours of the mountain, an annual snowfall averaging more than two
stories, snowmaking that covers almost 100 percent of the terrain, a grooming
fleet that produces award-winning trail conditions and the longest ski season
in New Hampshire, and you'll know why Wildcat delivers classic big mountain
skiing.
Wildcat's terrain is mostly rolling and suited for family-style
skiing, offering skiers of all abilities an amazing choice of runs.
The Snowcat Novice Area is three gentle slopes serviced by their own triple
chairlift, where new skiers can learn, practice and discover the thrills of
the sport. Wildcat has a new ticketing area, expanded retail shop, five new
trails (including glades) and the reopening of the "Top of the Cat"
restaurant. |
