Overview Resort Statistics Lift Statistics Trail Statistics Other Services Contact Info Directions

Ragged was on its way to becoming a forgotten ski area until its current owners responded to a 1986 newspaper ad for "a large parcel of land for sale in New Hampshire." When they first saw Ragged, it had no working lifts and its one base lodge was in need of major renovations. But they also saw a site that had tremendous potential with several undeveloped peaks, expansive bowls, an unlimited water supply for snowmaking, and a prime New Hampshire location just under two hours from Boston.

Today, Ragged Mountain offers the most affordable big mountain skiing and snowboarding experiences in New England with 200 + acres of trails, 98% state-of-the-art snowmaking coverage, nine lifts including New Hamphsire only high speed six-pack, and two New England colonial-style lodges that provide all the amenities a family could need. Ragged Mountain is a great place to learn to ski or snowboard, and the Ski School offers programs for all ages and ability levels. Services include ski rentals, ski shop, cafeteria, mid-mountain lodge and lounge.

Ragged Mountain Ski Area is located approximately 56 miles northwest of Manchester, N.H., and may be easily accessed via I-89 or I-93.
