If you're looking to get your kids, or even yourself, started skiing, King Pine is a good bet. Although it only has 16 trails, what it lacks in size, it makes up in its ability to instill confidence in even the most novice skier. The attendants are very focused on safety and the terrain is a perfect medium for your entire family. Although not for those looking for a challenging skiing adventure, if you are looking for a safe family fun at a small, "manageable" mountain, we would highly recommend King Pine.
