The Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area is owned and operated by the Suburban Hennepin Regional Park District. Hyland is located five minutes from the Mall of America, just south of Interstate 494 and Highway 100 in Bloomington, Minnesota. The ski area is nestled within the 1,000-acre Hyland Park Reserve, which offers extensive winter recreational activities including lighted cross-country ski trails, snowshoe trails and a Nordic ski jumping complex. Lessons and rentals are available.

Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area is known for some of the best snowmaking and grooming in the Midwest and the terrain park is full of progressive and innovative features. The large chalet complex features an outstanding food court, two levels of seating, accessory merchandise and equipment rentals. Lockers and a free ski/snowboard check are also available.

Hyland Ski Area is located off of East Bush Lake Road in Bloomington. From I-494, go south on East Bush Lake Road approximately 1/2 mile. When East Bush Lake Road veers right (west) at the stoplight, continue straight ahead on Chalet Road to Hyland approximately 1/2 mile.

Note: The following directions apply during the temporary closure of the intersection at East Bush Lake/84th St/Chalet Rd: Take Normandale Blvd. south of 494 to Mt. Normandale Drive to Sandro to Chalet Road and take a left; follow to the end of the road.
