Giants Ridge Resort, located in northeastern Minnesota, offers winter fun for the whole family. With 34 downhill runs, 70 km of cross-country trails and more than 3,000 miles of snowmobile trails nearby; Giants Ridge is known for its grooming and wonderful snow conditions. The resort is a U.S. cross-country and biathalon training center. It has been host to World Cup events, national championships, Olympic tryouts, junior Olympics and masters championships in cross-country. Giants Ridge also hosts downhill, slalom and giant slalom races, freestyle competitions and snowboard events.

Directions to Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort from the Twin Cities
Take Interstate 35 north to Cloquet (approx. 2 hours).
Take the Range Cities exit (Hwy. 33), stay on Hwy. 33 until it merges with Hwy. 53N.
Follow Hwy. 53N until you reach Eveleth (approx. 60 miles).
When you get to Eveleth, take the Hwy. 37E exit into Gilbert, follow that down Main Street.
You will come to the intersection of Hwy. 135E. (Right exit) Follow that for approx. 9 miles to Biwabik. You will be on Main Street.
The Giants Ridge exit is approx. 1 1/2 miles from the city of Biwabik on the left side of the road. You will make a left turn onto County Road 138.
Follow County Road 138 for 3 1/2 miles and Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort will be on your left. Welcome to northeastern Minnesota's finest four-season resort destination!

SHUTTLE SERVICE
Giants Ridge has a 12 passenger van available to pick up golf and ski guests in need of transportation to and from the Eveleth/Virginia, Chisholm/Hibbing, and Duluth airports. Guests should call the golf shop or ski chalet ahead of time to confirm availability and pick-up.

Go east on Trans Canada * Hwy 1
Go southeast on Highway 12 to US border of US
Go South on MN-313 to MN-11.
Go East on MN-11 to International Falls
Go Southeast on US-53 to MN-37/MN-135.
Go East on MN-37/MN-135. (near Virginia)
Go through Gilbert on Hwy 135E
Go for approx. 9 miles to Biwabik (you will be on main street)

The Giants Ridge exit is approx. 1 1/2 miles from the city of Biwabik on the left side of the road. You will make a left turn onto County Road 138.

Follow County Road 138 for 3 1/2 miles and Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort will be on your left.

Follow Giants Ridge Road (south) to the entrance
sign at Highway 135; Turn left. Travel east 1.5
miles and turn left (north) on Highway 135;
travel 27 miles (north) to Highway 169.
Turn left (west) on Highway 169 and travel
approximately four miles and turn right (north) on
County Road 77. At County Road 104, turn right
and travel two miles to the Fortune Bay entrance.
Approximate travel time: 30 minutes.

From The Wilderness at Fortune Bay To Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort
From County Road 104, turn left (south) onto
County Road 77; follow to Highway 169; turn left.
Follow Highway 169 (east) for approximately four
miles to the intersection of 169 and Highway 135.
Turn right and follow 135 (south) approximately
27 miles, where 135 curves sharply right. After the
curve, travel 1.5 miles; watch for the entrance sign
to Giants Ridge (Giants Ridge Road) on your right.
Approximate travel time: 30 minutes.
