Mt. Jefferson is a family ski area located in Lee, about 60 miles from Bangor. There are two novice trails, three intermediate and six difficult/more difficult trails. They are open Wednesday through Sunday.

This is a family owned and operated ski area that has been in business since 1964. Mount Jefferson is located not far from Bangor and Millinocket. It has family friendly pricing and offers warm meals in the ski lodge. Mount Jefferson’s ski runs rely solely on Mother Nature for fresh, clean powder.

Mt. Jefferson ski area is located in Penobscot County of Maine, 0.6 mile (1 km) south of Lee, north of Bangor via I-95 to Route 6. The ski area is 12 miles from Lincoln, Maine.

From Bangor, drive N on I-95 and take Lincoln Exit. Drive through Lincoln and go E on Route 6 to Mt. Jefferson Ski Area.
