Kelly Canyon Ski Resort is located in the Targhee National Forest near the South Fork of the Snake River and is one of the most beautiful and historic river valleys of Eastern Idaho. This region is rich in many recreational activities such as: swimming, hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, snowmobiling and skiing. Kelly Canyon Ski Resort was established in 1957.

With 26 trails and 4 lifts covering 740 skiable acres and a 1,000-foot vertical, Kelly Canyon offers a variety of terrain for all ability levels. We have the only night skiing in the area. You can enjoy the entire mountain -- with challenging trails on the back side, wide runs and accessible terrain down the front. Snowboarders are welcome everywhere on the mountain, and all major runs are lit for night skiing. A new 600-foot tubing park offers even more for families and groups.

Kelly Canyon is a great place for first-timers and beginners to learn. Certified instructors teach to all ability levels in both private and group lessons. There are classes just for kids, and snowboard instruction is available. Lessons are offered during the Christmas holidays and weekends in January. Services at the area include a rental shop, cafeteria, banquet and private rooms. Kelly Canyon is only 26 miles from Idaho Falls, nine miles off U.S. Highway 26, north of Ririe. Buses are provided Saturdays and holidays from area communities. With our central location, we are easy access from Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Rigby and other outlying areas.
