With 15 trails over 60 skiable acres, 100 percent snowmaking coverage and a vertical of 310, Powder Ridge offers a selection of runs varying from beginner to expert. The runs are serviced by a quad chairlift and two double chairs. All the trails are lit for night skiing. How to Get There Powder Ridge Ski Area is located just an hour's drive from the Twin Cities. From the north, Powder Ridge is 15 miles south of St. Cloud on Highway 15. From the south, take Highway 55 to Kimball, Minn., then north two miles on Highway 15, or take I-94 west to Highway 15 exit, then south 11 miles.

• Merritt Parkway North to Wilbur Cross exit 67 (East Main Street) or I-95 North to New Haven exit 48 to I-91 exit 18.
• Turn Right off the exit ramp onto East Main street and follow 2 miles to Route 147.
• Turn Right onto Route 147 and follow 1.5 miles to Powder Hill Road.
• Take a sharp Right onto Powder Hill Road.
• Powder Ridge Ski Area is located ½ mile up on your right.

from HARTFORD

• Berlin Turnpike South to exit 67W or I-91 South to exit 17 (East Main Street).
• Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto East Main Street and follow 2 miles on Route 66 to Route 147.
• Turn Right onto Route 147 and follow 1.5 miles to Powder Hill Road.
• Take a sharp Right onto Powder Hill Road.
• Powder Ridge Ski Area is located ½ mile up on your right.

from NEW LONDON

• Route 9 North to Middletown.
• Route 66 West (toward Meriden).
• 6 miles to Route 147.
• Left onto Route 147 and follow for 1.5 miles to Powder Hill Road.
• Take a sharp right onto Powder Hill Road.
• Powder Ridge Ski Area is located ½ mile up on your right.

from DANBURY

• Route 84 East to Route 691 East onto Route 66 East.
• (691 ends and turns into Route 66).
• - Follow Route 66 to Route 147.
• - Turn right onto Route 147 and follow 1.5 miles to Powder Hill Road.
• - Take a sharp right onto Powder Hill Road.
• - Powder Ridge Ski Area is located ½ mile up on your right.
