A great small mountain that provides a family atmosphere with enough variety and challenge to make it interesting to almost everybody. The snow making is amoung the best and if you catch it after a below zero night, you can ski as close to Colorado snow as is available in the east. If you are in the area from late November through the end of March, this should be a DO NOT MISS AREA.

Mohawk Mountain is a great place to go skiing. I've only skied Mohawk one time, in the late season, but the experience was an extremely fulfilling one. Definitely more than I expected for CT, they had a bumps run and a terrain park. The lifts are on the slow side, but the surrounding area is so beautiful time is of the essence. It definitely possesses the New England feel with all those narrow trails and it is great place to take the kids!
