You love snow. You love playing in the snow. Then Winter Park Resort is the place you’re going to love. We have the deepest, most consistent snow in Colorado. More that 351 inches of that fluffy white stuff blanketed the slopes last year. A fact backed by the National Weather Service as well as three generations of Colorado Skiers. However, just because you can count on good snow doesn't mean you should expect to ski in blizzard conditions. On average, Winter Park has 106 days of sunshine during the ski season -- or approximately 70 percent of the season is sunny.

Winter Park Resort is one of the best ski resorts in a state world famous for ski resorts. Here you’ll find 2,770 acres of shrouded bliss. Everything from family-friendly terrain to experts only stuff. Ski it. Ride it. Stare in wide-eyed wonder at it. Never has a place transported you so far, yet been so close. Just 67 miles from Denver. Toss in two authentic Colorado towns, Fraser and Winter Park, and you see why people keep coming back for more. It’s like they took everything right about Colorado and put it all in one spot just for you. Was that considerate or what?

A Variety of Terrain at Winter Park Resort. We all may have the same love for snow. But that doesn’t mean we all play in it the same way. This is where Winter Park takes a giant step ahead of the Colorado ski resort pack. Winter Park Resort is made up by five interconnected mountains, Winter Park, Mary Jane, Parsenn Bowl, Vasquez Cirque and Vasquez Ridge and three terrain Parks. Winter Park: Pure family fun. It’s as simple as that. Traditional groomed cruisers. Challenging mogul runs. And a total of 14 acres Learn to Ski and Snowboard areas. Mary Jane: Consistently rated the best bumps in North America. According to Skiing Magazine and anyone else who’s skied here. Steep, deep and relentless, that’s Mary Jane. Vasquez Ridge: Almost like owning a private mountain. You’ll enjoy a couple hundred acres of wide open cruisers and exciting bumps all to yourself. Even days after a storm, you’ll still be making fresh tracks. Parsenn Bowl: Above the tree line but not above your ability. One of the few bowls intermediates can also enjoy. Hard to say what takes your breath away most, the views of the Rockies or the endless runs. Vasquez Cirque: Not for the faint of heart. Expert only, extreme backcountry terrain. Even pros squirm at some of these cornices. Powder. Trees. Rock drops. An all the adrenaline you can pump. Park & Pipes: Winter Park offers a natural progression for freeriders of all levels with three terrain parks. Small features and rails in Discovery Park are designed for beginners. Kendrick Terrain Park is a step up for intermediates and Rail Yard is geared toward advanced riders. The Superpipe, located on the face of Allan Phipps, is 450-feet long and has 18-foot walls. New this season, amplitude banners in the pipe let riders see how much air they’re getting. A half-pipe is located next to the Superpipe. Winter Park’s Terrain Park and Pipes were ranked #9 in the nation by SKI magazine.

Lodging at Winter Park Resort. After exploring the slopes, visitors can either relax in a hot tub at a ski-in/ski-out of the Zephyr Mountain Lodge or curl up in front of a blazing fire just across the street at the Winter Park Mountain Lodge. Winter Park and the Fraser Valley offer many diverse lodging options, including lodges, motels, condominiums and bed & breakfasts with pricing and packages to suit every budget. If plenty of skiing on great snow conditions on a big mountain is a priority for your ski vacation, then experience the best of Colorado – Winter Park Resort.
