Loveland is definitly one of the best mountains in Colorado. I say Mountain, not resort. If you want nine hotels, six bars, twenty minute lift lines for detachable quads, deep driving. But, if you want a simple mountain that has a ton of snow then stop. Loveland is without a doubt one of the stepest and deepest mountains around. It can get windy and cold, but if its windy on chair 9 then that wind is filling something in with the snow that is blowing off of copper. The people and lifties and patrol are extremly nice, and very quick to get to you if you are hurt, the lodge is small, but warm and the food is awsome and cheap. The natural divisions between the steeps and the bunnyhills provide saftey for beginers, and no matter how well you ski you will have a good day.
