Aspen/Snowmass offers wide-open blue skies and fluffy white powder, as well as some of the most diverse terrain in North America. At Aspen/Snowmass, one ticket allows you to experience Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk. Four mountains with 4,800 acres of terrain, tons of lifts, numerous trails, thousands of feet of vertical drop, hundreds of inches of fresh snow and endless blue skies.

Buttermilk Mountain, one of four mountains in the Aspen/Snowmass resort complex, is located just three miles outside the town of Aspen and is considered one of the premiere learning mountains in the country. Most of Buttermilk's 420 acres are groomed each night and 74 percent of Buttermilk's ski and snowboard terrain is rated beginner or intermediate. Buttermilk, home of the ESPN Winter X Games, is a premier mountain for learners. While the experts frolic in the Crazy T'Rain Terrain Park – the longest in the world – the rest of the family can celebrate Buttermilk's smooth, wide, rolling trails, perfect for learning a new sport or trick. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned rider, a day at Buttermilk will be an experience like no other. Hope to the X Games for many years now, Buttermilk will again host this event until the year 2007.

Already world famous, each year the X Games gets even bigger and bigger with more events and more exictement for everyone. Just a few miles from downtown Aspen, Buttermilk is the perfect venue for fun as well as learning.
