I think some of the reviews of Mt.High are too harsh. To have this resort just an hour and a half out of LA is heavenly! With the night skiing available EVERY night, the constant snowmaking, and the most adorable little bar on the side of the bunny chair, Mt. High is going above and beyond to compete with the big guys. The service at the pub is less than good, so please be patient when you arrive. It is less expensive than any of the other resorts I've been to, and the main chair was really fast. The half pipe and the jumps are really fun and very well spaced. It is a snowboarder's park - so skiers beware! The most waiting you will be doing at this park is in line for the tickets, so grab a season pass while you still can at a great price!
