Overview Resort Statistics Lift Statistics Trail Statistics Other Services Contact Info Directions

Red Mountain is actually made up of two mountains, Red and Granite, which provide 1,686 skiable acres amidst the resort's total 4,200 acre area. Both mountains are skiable 360 degrees around. That means you can choose from a virtually endless number of runs with each descent! In addition to Red's famous runs, Red offers:

Ski/Snowboard Terrain Park: This season, Red will be boasting the only terrain park in the West Kootenays! Located on the T-Bar slope, the park will include 15 rails, funboxes and tabletop jumps. There will be features suitable for all levels of ability. The park will be improved this year with better flow, additional features, and a new sound system for events! You can see a video of the Park at the Ski/Snowboard Terrain Park page.

Beginner Area: A beginner area with a Magic Carpet conveyor lift is available at the base area. Beginner skiers and snowboarders will enjoy an easy, convenient introduction to the sport.

Cross-Country and Snowshoe Loop: A cross-country and snowshoe loop is accessible from Red's base area. The loop connects to the existing Centennial Trail, which winds its way from the mountain to the town of Rossland.

Interactive Trail Map.

This trail map allows you to explore Red's runs interactively, and also features a directory of runs that you can easily reference to find a run's location. Heard about a famous run while drinking an ale in the Steamshovel? This is the place to find it! If you still can't find what you're looking for, be sure to ask one of our Snow Hosts.
