We think Big White is just wonderful. Having skied in alot of resort the ski-in/ski-out here is too easy. The mountain offers a wide range of levels from kids and beginners to the cliff and Gem chair for more advanced. The snow quality is unlike Whistler because it is the true champagne powder which is so light and airy it is like moving through a cloud. The accommodations are top rate. ... have some beautiful chalets that are huge and have full kitchens, hot tubs, fireplaces and all at a quarter of what you would pay at other resorts, especially in the States. The place is quite small though so if you want to come and play with the family it's not too bad. If you want to shop and eat it's not as interesting. And of course it's friendly. Western Canadians are sooo friendly and the place attracts alot of Ozzie kids who are also really great. Overall I think we'll definitely be heading back and investing as the property there seems like a good deal and an even better investment.
