Belleayre Ski Center Breaks Ground on New Adaptive Snowsports Building

06/06/2008 - Belleayre Mountain has started construction of a building near Overlook Lodge that will serve as the new home for their fast growing adaptive snowsports program. Belleayre’s critically acclaimed adaptive snowsports program that has been generating great reviews from participants will now have a new handicapped accessible building to house its operation.

Adaptive Snowsports Coordinator Bettyrae Liskom is extremely excited about the construction. When asked about the groundbreaking Liskom replied “This is what we have been waiting for and is really going to help us take it to the next level. I know our program is going to mushroom from here and grow so fast. I can’t tell you how happy I am.”

The new Belleayre Adaptive Snowsports building has been funded through the support and generosity of Belleayre champion New York Senator John Bonacic of the 42nd District. There will be a formal ribbon cutting ceremony once the building is complete.
