When you're ready to wrap things up, just squeeze the cam wings to release tension and the Spot 203 Avalanche Probe folds down into a lightweight little package. Backcountry Access placed depth markings in 1cm increments for easy and precise measurements. The Spot 203 Avalanche Probe's 7075 aluminum construction is extremely light and burly enough to last through years of use.

Good Buy
This probe will work well for you in most cases. If you tour in larger groups where everyone will have a probe this will work fine if shiz turns south. Perhaps consider a longer probe if you are in areas with over 500 inches/year.
